When Sacrament of Confession is refused

Or, a third possibility: did the OP double-check that he’d be at the normally-scheduled time, but when the time arrived, he was not present?

response to everyone replying and trying to help me understand.

This is a rural area. the priest comes into town, away from the parish, to offer Mass to a small group of which I am one. arrangements were made to have confession here each time, and with previous priests it has always been this way.
I am worrying less about this trying to pray about it , but the temptation is to take it personal and I don’t think it is about me. Perhaps the Lord wants me to pray very much for him and this I will try to do.
I have not been to confession since last July, I think someone asked. when I can make arrangements I will travel out of area to…somewhere… to see a priest. until then may God keep me, and Mother Mary protect me. St Michael, defend me. Amen.

Glad to see this resolution and that you will make different arrangements. And no it is probably not about you.
