I say, “yes”.
If the questioner wishes to pursue it, and of course they do!, my Catholicism follows.

Everyone who is Catholic should respond “yes”. If you say you are Catholic, that is fine, but Catholics are Christians, and those of us who know that make things worse by not making that very clear.
Good point m134e5, some Catholic’s own responses go on to further the debate/question, “Are Catholics Christian”. Because they themselves are/have been saying they are not. They should get educated in the Faith.

**I would say if ever the opportunity arises:

"What do you mean “am I Christian?! -
Of course I’m Christian - I’m Catholic!!!”**

Marilena:
Do you say, yes, Iam a Catholic. Or, do you say, Iam Christian?
Or, do you say both? for example: Catholic Christian.
I reply, “yes”. If they inquire about what Church I attend, I say, “St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.” If they say, “I thought you said you were a Christian,” I say, “I am. And I am a member of the first Christian Church, the one established by Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church.”

I sheepishly ask, “What did I do or say to make you ask me that question?”
