When to go to Mass?

Hi I just wantedto be sure. We are only required to go to Mass on Sundays and on the six or so Holy Days of Obligation right? Or are there other days that we are required to go too such as Feast Days, Memorials, Solemnities, or any other day. Thanks for all the help.

Short answer: yes, you are exactly right.

There are plenty of times when it is nice to go to Mass, though, as you realize, it is not required. Here’s what the Code of Canon Law sets forth on the obligation:
Can. 1246 §1. Sunday, on which by apostolic tradition the paschal mystery is celebrated, must be observed in the universal Church as the primordial holy day of obligation. The following days must also be observed: the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Epiphany, the Ascension, the Body and Blood of Christ, Holy Mary the Mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, her Assumption, Saint Joseph, Saint Peter and Saint Paul the Apostles, and All Saints.

§2. With the prior approval of the Apostolic See, however, the conference of bishops can suppress some of the holy days of obligation or transfer them to a Sunday.
So, yes, it is required to go every Sunday, as well as on any of the ten Holy Days listed for which Conference of Bishops of your country has not removed the obligation or transferred the day to a Sunday. In almost all countries, at least some of the days have been transferred or had the obligation removed.

Those are the days when attendance is compulsory and failing to attend without very good reason is sinful. There’s nothing that says you can’t go to every Mass.
