I haven’t been to a New Year’s Eve party in well over 30 years, and I like it that way. I also haven’t been in a bar or nightclub since I was in my early 20s. No party-animal here, I’m an early-to-bed-early-to-rise kind of guy. For me, the New Year always starts better when I’m well rested and sober!

Sometime back in the 20th century. 
I use the initial “OTD” instead of a number for my age now. (Older Than Dirt) People will generally laugh and forget they asked my age. However, it does not work on my mother, or other kinfolk.
