Where can I find a particular bible verse?

It’s the RSV with a search engine. It’s not the Catholic Edition, so there are places where you need to know the difference. But 99% of it is OK.

The text you are looking for is: Isaiah 65:25.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,

and dust shall be the serpent’s food.
They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain, says the LORD.

I used the “proximity search” feature and entered: “lion” on the first line and “lamb” on the second. If I were a Baptist, I wouldn’t need the search engine. But that’s a Catholic for ya!

There is a good place I like to look that you can look at about 15-20 different Bible translations. None of them are Catholic Bibles, but you can still get the verses. It’s www.biblegateway.com

I had to laugh when I saw this! We baptists need shirts that say, “Bible inside” like the ones that say, “intel inside”, etc. Actually, I don’t have that much knowledge in my head, but I do have a desktop Bible program with searches and commentaries that I use when debating on the forum that cost me less than $10.00 at Wal-Mart. It’s very helpful.

As for searching, use Google and add:
site:drbo.org
To your search terms, and it will search the Douhy-Rhiems, which is Catholic, of course.

Or you can go to usccb.org and search the NAB there.

This is coming a bit late but I always use www.SearchGodsWord.org to find verses.

There is even the Douay-Reims version as well as other Catholic bibles on this site.

It’s really simple to use and navigate.
