Where can I find help in recovering from an abortion?

My partner and I ended a pregnancy ten years ago and we still cannot find peace with our decision. We would like to find resources that will enable us to reconcile ourselves with God and the Church. This has been tearing us up. Please help.
 
If you and your partner have not already done so, and assuming that you are both Catholics, the first thing to do is to go to confession. God forgives all repented sins and the place where Catholics ordinarily go to receive his sacramental forgiveness is the confessional. After that, further help in healing from post-abortion trauma can be found through Project Rachel, which may have a local chapter in your diocese. You may also be able to find a referral to a Catholic-friendly counselor in your area through the Pastoral Solutions Institute or through CatholicTherapists.com. God bless.
