Where can I worship in NYC?

I am visiting NYC in April and I need to know where I can attend Mass during my stay. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions and recommendations. I would prefer to attend a traditionally styled Church and for this reason I have considered attending St Patrick’s Cathedral.

I love both forms of the Mass and I would also like to know the locations of any regular Tridentine Masses within the city. I am staying in Midtown Manhattan near Times Square.

Google the archdiocese of New York. They will have a list of parishes with addresses and mass times. There is also a web site called “masstimes” that lists times of masses by location. Provide a location, city, and times and locations come up.

If I’m not mistaken, I believe that St. Agnes offers a Tridentine Mass. I can’t remember exactly where it’s located, but it is in the vicinity of 43rd Street, so it shouldn’t be too far from where you will be staying.

I haven’t been there for years, but I remember it to be a beautiful traditionally-styled church.

As the poster above said, if you Google the Archdiocese, you can get St. Agnes’ schedule, or at least a phone number to call them.

One of the most beautiful churches I’ve seen in NYC is Our Lady of Good Counsel on the upper East Side (@ East 93rd Street). The outside doesn’t give a clue that the inside of the church rivals anything I’ve seen in Europe.
