Hi, well the Church teaches that a human being actually starts ‘existing’ if you will, at conception. That’s when we get our souls. I tend to think that’s when God creates our souls as well.

We come from God, we exist for God, and we go to God. He who creates us is with us and wills us to be saved.

Before we were born, we were in our mothers wombs… for 9 months (or a little less, for preemies).

We were created… at the moment of our conception. Prior to that, we did not yet exist… although… Almighty God knew from all eternity… that He would bring each of us… into existence.

This is the reason, that abortion is such a huge sin. God loves us from all eternity… and plans for us to be born, and live our lives. When a child is aborted… God’s Plan for that child is destroyed. 😦
