And what translation do you own?

I own Douay Rheims and I keep mine on my nightstand.

As far from my kids’ reach as possible!
Don’t worry, they have their own :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

In a pile that moves between my bed and chair. It is in the pile with other religious objects and papers I use daily. I own an RSV2CE but have been considering getting some other ones.

Options currently: Knox, David Bentley Hart New Testament, Robert Alter Hebrew Bible, Jerusalem Bible, actually just learning a language.

All over the place…
One on nightstand, one on computer desk here in my room, at least 3 in the cabinet here, one in living room bookshelf, one in studio, one in my purse, one in my other purse, one in the car, one at work (that I haven’t seen since March), two e versions on the computer here, 3 e versions on the tablet. Probably a few others scattered.

Many different versions, both full versions and the abridged versions with a few books missing. Also a LXX in that mix.

In my phone (2 or 3 translations) and in my computer (30-ish English translations, plus Latin, and Greek and Hebrew texts.

I have the Ignatius Catholic Bible RSV on Kindle. I like the text-to-speech feature.
I also have the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible - New Testament in print and waiting for the Old Testament to come out in print.

Beside my favorite reading chair is an RSV and a Good News Bible, which is just a New Testament from the Canadian Bible Society. Next to the bed is an NIV. On an end table in the living room are several KJV’s and a New American Standard. I have a much-maligned Living Bible from the 1970’s, which is just a paraphrase of the KJV. Somewhere there is also a New KJV. There are two New Testaments which we got from the Billy Graham Association which are not translations as such, but are based on the New American Standard. All told we probably have close to 15 bibles in the house. The RSV is probably the best but my favorite remains the KJV.

I keep my ESV and NIV on my bed. The others I keep on my book shelf.

Douay Rheims is in a box somewhere. St. Joseph New American Bible is on nightstand. The grocery store bible (bought by my parents in sections in the grocery store way back in the early 1960s) - I’m not sure what Catholic version it is but it’s in the closet.

I own NRSV, Gospel and Psalms, Douay Rheims, RSVCE 2nd edition, La bible en français courant, and have access to several others. I try to read different versions at a time. Lately, that has been my Douay Rheims for my English Bible. And I generally carry my Bible in a bag with me, pretty much everywhere I go. I do have some pocket Bibles for places I can’t.
