My breviary said Vespers tomorrow should be done differently if St Sylvester is celebrated as a first class feast in your location. I am out of the United States on vacation (Spain) and curious as to which locations these are. Google didn’t turn up anything. Thanks

If your local parish has St. Sylvester as its patron, then it would be celebrated as a first class feast day.

@Vico, since the OP was talking about first class feasts, he is likely using a 1962 breviary, which follows a slightly different calendar than the one you’ve posted here.

I see, thank you. I always have to look up, myself, since I follow the Byzantine calendar which has Venerable Mother Melany of Rome on the 31st instead, and Our Holy Father Sylvester, Pope of Rome on January 2nd.
