Could anyone tell me please where these words from Scripture, or similar occur:…

“Go back to Egypt via The Red Sea Road” it may be the Dead Sea Road and not Red Sea Road…

About the only thing that comes to mind is Exodus 13:17. But that was refering to when God was leading the Israelites FROM Egypt. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reference from Zachariah…I’m recording the reference details so I can have a look. The quote that keeps going thru my head mystifies me (and of course I could have it wrong!) …because why would The Lord tell Israel to go back to Egypt after He had with considerable effort brought them out of it .

I do know a priest who is a scripture scholar but just at the moment I know he is heavily committed and hesitate to bother him …we have a shortage of priests here in South Australia…but the entries to The Seminary seem to be increasing…Good news!

I’ll record your reference from Exodus too…and have a look.
Years ago and I’m pretty sure I was doing a home retreat during Lent from a Lenten book I had bought, I read the words…I am fairly confident of that. I had thought I’d easily find the actual reference from the internet and I spent quite a lot of time looking…no luck!
This did surprise me and so I questioned that I recalled the words correctly…I’m sure I have. Bit of a mystery at the moment and of course memory can at times can fail one.
But thanks so much for trying… eventually things unfold one way or the other… I have looked for the Lenten book from years ago…no luck…but then my library is a disaster area of disorganization and chaos!
