I’d like to make some “relic badges” with the two pieces of plastic crocheted together around an oval picture or a Sacred Heart badge. I see many religious orders and guilds for saint canonizations make these. My problem is, I cannot find where one orders the materials to make them, or even what type of plastic you use, etc.
It seems like there should be a place to buy the plastic and maybe a punch press. Then if you have some knowledge of crochet you can easily do the edging.
Does anybody know where to get such supplies? The religious orders and guilds must be getting the stuff to make these somewhere.
