I know nobody knows but technically?

I am in mortal sin and I hate the fact I am. I am sorry for my sins but there is no confession for me.

Technically I would go to Hell because I am in mortal sin but surely there is chance that I would go to Purgatory because I want to go to confession and I am sorry for my sins?

1452 When it arises from a love by which God is loved above all else, contrition is called “perfect” (contrition of charity). Such contrition remits venial sins; it also obtains forgiveness of mortal sins if it includes the firm resolution to have recourse to sacramental confession as soon as possible.51

51 Cf. Council of Trent (1551): DS 1677.
Who absolves me?

Who absolves me?
God forgives sin and the exercise of the power of absolution is entrusted to the apostolic ministry.

During his Mass at the Casa Santa Marta on Friday, March 20, 2020, H.H. Pope Francis said:
I know that many of you go to confession before Easter…
Many will say to me: ‘But Father…I can’t leave the house and I want to make my peace with the Lord. I want Him to embrace me… How can I do that unless I find a priest?’. Do what the catechism says. It’s very clear. If you don’t find a priest to go to confession, speak to God. He’s your Father. Tell Him the truth: ‘Lord. I did this and this and this. Pardon me.’ Ask His forgiveness with all your heart with an act of contrition, and promise Him, ‘afterward I will go to confession.’ You will return to God’s grace immediately. You yourself can draw near, as the catechism teaches us, to God’s forgiveness, without having a priest at hand.

Surely you would go to Heaven as you can only go to Hell if you want to go to Hell, am i right?

Me understanding perfect contrition is like trying to understand fossils or chromosones.
What’s confusing you? Perfect contrition is basically remorse for your sins that is motivated by love of God. Are you sorry for your sins because you’re afraid of Hell or because you love God and you’re sorry you’ve injured Him? That’s the basic question.

What if you don’t know if you love God or not?
Pray to be brought closer to love of God.

Regardless, I’m of the opinion that God is not going to turn His back on someone who genuinely wants to confess their sins but is unable to do so for some external reason. The sacraments are binding on us, not Him.

I have always thought that if baptism of desire is possible then confession of desire should also be possible too in a worst case scenario.
