Which Bible should I buy for my eReader?

Hi have a Barnes & Noble Nook and want to purchase a bible so that I can have one a little more accesible while at work or traveling. Carrying around a big heavy Bible gets tiresome 🙂

I have a Bible given to me by my church when I joined the RCC in 2009, but does anyone have suggestions for good (RCC approved, of course) Bibles for eReaders?

I have the Douey Rheims and a King James (the one I grew up with) both on my Nook. Also got Mass Revision from Jimmy Aiken.

I don’t think Ignatius Press publishes in epub format. Yet.
 
Like Castello, I have the Kindle, so not sure if these are available for Nook, I also have the Ignatius Bible and find it easy to read.

I also have this: amazon.com/gp/product/B004I8WNE6/ref=kinw_myk_ro_title (Church Authorized Douay-Rheims) - the language can sometimes feel a little “old”.

Of the two I much prefer the table of contents of the Douay-Rheims as it gives you the books and their chapters, whereas the Ignatius one you have to open the book and then when the new page opens go to the chapter you want. Just a little more cumbersome if you’re doing a study and want to look up several verses from different parts of the Bible.

At the moment, on Amazon, you can open each to view a sample, which should give you an idea of each one.

It is certainly convenient being able to carry the Bible around with you (along with a vast amount of other reading material) in the same space as an average paperback.
 
:thumbsup:I have a Kobo Ereader and I only have the Douay Rheims on mine, although I have many more Catholic materials to read, I’m not into secular reading as I’m in the Holy Family, I want more clean reads
