I know that there are two versions of the Bible, the Old and the New Testament. I became curious on which version do Catholic use the most?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I beleve it does answer my question, Thanks .At Mass (the Catholic worship service) on Sundays there are three readings from the Bible: 1 from the Old Testament and 2 from the New Testament, more specifically, 1 from one of the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John) and 1 from one of the other books of the New Testament. So, I guess you could say that Catholics use the New Testament most. Does that answer your question?
Thanks, though I do hope that there are pocket/travel sized versions. Since I heard that Bibles tends to be as big and thick as Webster’s Desk Dictionary.Best of luck in choosing a Bible that suits you.
Mine is eight inches tall, five or six inches wide, and an inch thick. I keep it in my bookbag all the time. Bibles smaller than that are available, too. Just look on the internet–but make sure the Bible that you’re getting is a version with ecclesiastical approval. Thanks, though I do hope that there are pocket/travel sized versions.
