Which book/DVD tells how to apply the Theology of the Body to life?

I have been reading Theology of the Body for Beginners. I have one chapter to go. I want to learn all I can about how to apply this to myself and the woman I deeply love.

The book says:

”if conjugal chastity (and chastity in general) manifests itself at first as an ability to resist [lust], it subsequently reveals itself as a singular ability to perceive, love, and realize those meaning of the ‘language of the body’ that remain completely unknown to [lust] itself” (TOB 128:3) Hence, the discipline required by chastity dose not impoverish or impede a couple’s expressions of love and affection. Rather, “it makes them spiritually more intense and thus enriches them” (TOB 128:3)” (pg 114 Theology of the Body for Beginners)

Which book, DVD, etc. gives steps on how to incorporate this teaching into our lives? I have looked at a lot of description of the books/DVD’s available and none are clear as to which will tell how to apply what is in these teachings to our lives.

Any help is welcomed.

I don’t know, but I’m commenting here because I too, would like to read such a book/watch such a DVD.

I would actually suggest two Christian DVDs/films, esp. since you are dudes!

FIREPROOF (a fireman’s marriage is on the rocks. How does he win his wife back?)

COURAGEOUS (4 cops learn what it means to be a man and a father)

“Theology of His/Her Body” is also good by Jason Evert

and “Wait for Me” by Rebecca St. James has practical, positive before-marriage tips…

God bless.

Both of these movies are very Protestant. They do not fully reflect Catholic teaching and encourage people to “get saved” the evangelical way.

Any Catholic alternatives? Lord knows we need 'em.
