Which Eucharistic Prayer is also known as "the Roman Canon"?

Our parish is having a Mass of Thanksgiving for our newly-ordained deacon this afternoon, and I got the program this morning when I went to Mass. I was scanning it, and they listed Eucharistic Prayer III as the Roman Canon. I thought that was Eucharistic Prayer I?

It IS EP I. EP III seems to be the preferred one in my parish, although we do get EP II occasionally.

EP I (“To you, therefore, most merciful Father…”) is the Roman Canon. It is the revised translation into English of the Euchristic prayer of the Extraordinary Form (Tridentine) Mass. However, it differs from that text in several ways, most notably through rubrical changes.
