I would love to go to Lourdes. That and Fatima are on my list.

I’ve been to Knock. 🙂

ETA: I’m a dingus and forgot to mention I’ve also been to the Vatican, and some of the catacombs outside Rome. I guess it didn’t feel like a pilgrimage at the time because it was crowded and there was a lot of tourist chaos. Rome stressed me out.

Knock was quiet and not crowded so it was easier to take it in as a pilgrimage.

I’ve been to Rome, the Vatican. Everyone should go once in their lifetime!

I would love to visit Lourdes.

Holy land and Rome. Have no idea where I am going next. Still have a lot to see in Rome (Vatican museum with the Sistine chapel) so I might go back and at the same time go to Assisi, Florence and Siena.

I’ve been to Rome including the Vatican and the other 3 major basilicas in Rome. I’ve been to the basilicas in Assisi, Siena, Florence, Padua, Bologna, Pisa, and Venice. I’ve also been to the Scala Santa although I did not climb the stairs. I’ve also seen Notre Dame in Paris.

I would love to visit more in France and Southern Italy.

Would love to go to Lourdes, maybe Fatima, and likely Walsingham as well. (Hubby is a British ex-pat so Walsingham would be lovely for him.)

Have been to Aparecida in Brazil. I don’t know if everyone is familiar with that site.

In 1717, Dom Pedro de Almeida, the Count of Asumar and governor of Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo, went to the village of Guaratingueta (very close to Sao Paulo City) from October 17-30. The fishermen were told to catch many fish so that they could prepare a feast for the governor. Among the fishermen were Domingos Garcia, Joao Alves, and Philippe Pedroso. They asked the Immaculate Conception to pray that they would catch the fish they needed. They went as far as the port of Itaguacu, a considerable distance, but had caught nothing. One of them decided to let down his net one last time. When he brought it up, it contained the body of a statue. A little further on, he brought up the head of the same statue. It was a small statue, about 14 inches high, of Mary. After he brought up the statue, suddenly he and the other two netted so many fish they were afraid their boats would sink from the weight! This came to be known as the Miraculous Catch. Devotion to Our Lady developed in the area after that, and they called her Nossa Senhora Aparecida, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Who Appeared. Many, many miracles have been attributed to her intercession. The Basilica of Aparecida is located in Brazil, near Sao Paulo City. The statue is still there. She was originally painted polychrome, but has now turned almost black from exposure to candles and oil lamps. She wears a velvet robe covered in jewels, and on her head is a golden crown, given to her when she was crowned Patroness of Brazil.

Lourdes, Rome (many times), Normandy to visit St. Therese’s home, Paris’ Rue-de-Bac, upstate New York sites of the North American martyrs, St. Anne-de-Beaupre and St. Joseph’s shrine in Quebec, and many lesser known saints’ shrines across Western Europe. I have not been to Fatima or Guadalupe, however, and they are on my bucket list.
I also went to Medjugorje and came back unconvinced that it was supernatural.
