Which miracle(s) in the Bible do you like the most?

The Holy Bible is replete with miracles. However, there are some in which we have developed a special liking to. I especially like the way God humbled the arrogant King Nebuchadnezzar because it teaches a great lesson on humility and reminds us how God can humble egocentric people in so many profound ways.

Nebuchadnezzar was driven out of human society and ate grass like an ox. The dew fell on his body, and his hair grew as long as bird claws. After seven years had passed, he looked up at the sky, and his sanity returned. He praised the Supreme God and gave glory and honor to the one who lives forever. And the glory of his kingdom was given back to him.

Which miracle(s) in the Bible do you like the most, and why?
 
Water into wine. Though I would prefer it turned into beer.
 
hah, 😊 nice answer, goodcatholic. I like that miracle, too. The very first that Jesus did.
 
But if you were dying of thirst I think a miracle of wine into water would be better.
 
Absolutely. Water is more beneficial to the body. Truly quenches the thirst, too.
 
The image of Jesus’ corpse that was imprinted on His burial cloth is miraculous in nature. Since this miracle is still with us, it is my favorite. This miracle is not recorded in the Bible of western churches because in 496 AD Pope Gelasius I issued a decree which deleted the Doctrine of Addai from the Bible. That doctrine details how the miraculous image of Jesus came to King Abgar V of Edessa.
However the miracle that provided the mechanism for the imprinting of the Holy Image on the Shroud is recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, and that miracle is the disappearance of our Lord’s corpse from the inside of His sealed tomb.
 
The Road to Emmaus where Jesus journeys as a stranger with the 2 disciples from Jerusalem after the crucifixion and reveals himself at the breaking of the bread.
 
Two favorites.
  1. The one that starts “in the beginning…”
  2. Christ’s rise from the dead.
 
When Jesus raised Lazarus back from the dead.
I also like when Jesus said to the little girl in Mark chapter 5, "Little girl, I say to you, arise!” “The girl, a child of twelve, arose immediately and walked around. [At that] they were utterly astounded.”

The Resurrection. What’s not to like? Jesus defeats evil and death and gives us life in Him. Love, true love, defeats the toils and sorrow of this vale.

Jesus expressing His Authority as God by speaking and bringing Lazarus from the dead.
 
The raising of the widow’s son at Nain. A widow who had no husband to provide for her, now loses her only son who could do the same. The pain and anguish she had to feel at the absolute bleak nature of her future had to be absolute. And the restoration of her only son’s life must have brought an incredible joy.

It shows us that the great power of God is not reserved for the high and mighty, but is available to all of us.

They are all wonderful of course. But one of the miracles I like best is when Jesus heals the possessed man, and he and his parents are then questioned by the Pharisees so that they can trap Jesus. The healed man mouths back to the Pharisees showing his wit and intelligence, and then Jesus seeks him out again. It is just a great story!
