Which mysteries of the rosary are said during Lent?

Which mysteries of the rosary are said during Lent? I was told by some fellow parishioners that the sorrowful mysteries are said from Ash Wednesday until Lent is over.
 
Although many people give pride of place to the sorrowful mysteries during Lent, you are free to pray any of the mysteries you like. The rosary is a private devotion.
