Which relatives are excluded from being my confirmation sponsor?

I’m already baptized and have godparents but I haven’t been in contact with them for Lord knows how long. Nonetheless, I’m in the RCIA program in my parish and wanted to know something.

Does the person I’m considering to be my sponsor have to be baptized, confirmed, and have received First Communion?

Next, who can it NOT be from my relatives?
 
If I understand you correctly, you were baptized outside of the Catholic Church with non-Catholic godparents and are now in the process of being received into the Church. You now need to know the requirements for a confirmation sponsor and who among your relatives is excluded from being a sponsor.

Yes, whoever you choose must be baptized, confirmed, and have received the Eucharist (Code of Canon Law, canon 874 §1 3°, cf. canon 893 §1). The excluded relatives are your parents (canon 874 §1 5°, cf. canon 893 §1). If I have misunderstood your questions, please feel free to resubmit them.
