The BIC is a Registered NGO. Can you locate this “social” teachings in it’s official statement?
Sure:
“Viewing global advancement primarily through the lens of capacity building, we seek the empowerment of increasingly larger segments of humanity to work effectively toward the spiritual and material betterment of all. Toward this end, we offer insights from the Baha’i teachings and the experience of the worldwide Baha’i community in trying to put those insights into practice in support of efforts to address global challenges.”

“Our aim is to contribute to the collective shaping of attitudes needed to advance global prosperity and justice.”

“…we also seek to contribute at the level of culture and process. Practicing collaborative decision-making; shaping efforts around a process of action, consultation, and reflection; functioning in a mode of learning; building unity while valuing diversity—these are some of the operating principles of our work.”

Meanwhile:
The Holy See Mission at the United Nations in New York follows attentively and with interest the work of the United Nations Organization. In this forum, the Holy See Mission communicates the centuries’ experience of the Catholic Church to humanity, and places this experience at the disposal of the United Nations to assist it in its realization of peace, justice, human dignity and humanitarian cooperation and assistance.
The experience and activity of the Holy See is directed towards attaining freedom for every believer and seeks to increase the protection of the rights of every person, rights which are grounded and shaped by the transcendent nature of the person, which permit men and women to pursue their journey of faith and their search for God in this world.
The aims are similar Martin.

.

No. The Church is not an NGO, who teach a new world order. The BIC teach a new world order. Not similar. If that was true the BIC would join hands with the HSM, with a joint statement

Peace be with you

MJ
Do you even know what a new world order means from a Baha’i perspective Martin?

.

Of course.

But the question was directed to you.

What is the new world order of the Baha’i Faith?

.
I try to carry the Cross of Christ. That is the greatest thing for me.

I can see the new world order doesn’t.

That’s because you are focussed on the word “Christ” and “Cross” and have little interest in what “Carrying the Cross” means. Or do it seems from your posts…

To all of you, brothers in trial, who are visited by suffering under a thousand forms, the council has a very special message. It feels on itself your pleading eyes, burning with fever or hollow with fatigue, questioning eyes which search in vain for the why of human suffering and which ask anxiously when and whence will come relief.

Very dear brothers, we feel echoing deeply within our hearts as fathers and pastors your laments and your complaints. Our suffering is increased at the thought that it is not within our power to bring you bodily help nor the lessening of your physical sufferings, which physicians, nurses and all those dedicated to the service of the sick are endeavoring to relieve as best they can.

But we have something deeper and more valuable to give you, the only truth capable of answering the mystery of suffering and of bringing you relief without illusion, and that is faith and union with the Man of Sorrows, with Christ the Son of God, nailed to the cross for our sins and for our salvation. Christ did not do away with suffering. He did not even wish to unveil to us entirely the mystery of suffering. He took suffering upon Himself and this is enough to make you understand all its value. All of you who feel heavily the weight of the cross, you who are poor and abandoned, you who weep, you who are persecuted for justice, you who are ignored, you the unknown victims of suffering, take courage. You are the preferred children of the kingdom of God, the kingdom of hope, happiness and life. You are the brothers of the suffering Christ, and with Him, if you wish, you are saving the world.

This is the Christian science of suffering, the only one which gives peace. Know that you are not alone, separated, abandoned or useless. You have been called by Christ and are His living and transparent image. In His name, the council salutes you lovingly, thanks you, assures you of the friendship and assistance of the Church, and blesses you.

Thank you Servant for sanctifying me. 🙂

So the tears had for me the last time were…:hmmm:

Peace be with you.

Two comments Martin:
  1. What makes you think that the Baha’i new world order excludes what you posted above?
  2. Would you still be suffering in heaven?

Clearly you don’t know what you are saying,

Peace be with you.

MJ

And there we have it.

Peace be with you.

Well my understandings are always undermined Martin. Patronisining and paternalistic responses. The darts are aplenty.

I’m seeking YOUR understanding so I can walk you out of the darkness of folly that has engulfed you about the Baha’i Faith.

What is your understanding?

We’re talking the new world order according to the Bahai. Where is the Cross of Christ in the new world order? Is it there or is it not?

Peace be with you.
