Mac and Cheese, not really surprised, given the proliferation of cracker barrels.

Idaho goes for Green Bean Casserole when it’s known as the state of FAMOUS POTATOES!?!? I demand a recount!!

Mine says green bean casserole, but we don’t have that. I’d have to go with stuffing or mashed potatoes.

Good one @DeniseNY, I almost didn’t even bother reading this thread. 😉

Mac and cheese, and I don’t know about the rest of the state, but that is never on our table for thanksgiving.

Mac and cheese tends to be southern favorite and I know that amongst the black community, have hundreds of various recipes for it! I bought a cook book of southern black recipes and I never knew there were so many ways to make Mac and cheese!

My state is mashed potatoes and my previous state is gravy! Well, duh! Who has mashed potatoes without some kind of gravy? Plus, we always have stuffing as well and green bean casserole!

Gee, no state picked cranberry sauce! 😂😂😂

Mine says cream corn, but we nor anyone I know have that.

Stuffing is the most important thing about Thanksgiving to my sons and my husband. There is no amount of stuffing that would ever be too much. 😂

Massachusetts should have been down for cranberry sauce. Cranberries are a big crop around here.

When I was in Virginia the best mac and cheese was made with pimento cheese.

Now I’m in Vermont and we do stuffing instead. Well obviously I’m going to mix cornbread in. I begged the family to let me do turducken but was shot down since we are going with no extended family and so it’s me and my mother. She likes cornbread but not ‘weird Southern stuff’. Sigh. No Coca-Cola ham, no grits, no ‘cue. Back to red flannel hash and beans and brown bread. Thank the Good Lord for maple syrup and King Arthur Flour at least.

What’s the difference between stuffing and dressing?

I call it stuffing, but I bake it in a tray, not in the bird.

Maybe that’s dressing?
