I’m sorry, but I’m sure this question has been asked. I want to baptize my one year old son and appoint my brother and sister as his godparents, problem is both have not been confirmed; only have had their communion. I do not want anyone else to be my son’s godparents. Can my siblings still be godparents? I’ve contact two churches within my community and both said no. I feel this is unfair if I want to baptize my child. Please advise. Thank you.
