Please help with information on reporting a private revelation. We have had the most wonderful gift from God through the Holy Spirit. Last Sunday, sadly, my mother passed away. We were given confirmation of her soul going home to heaven. This sign was witnessed by over 15 people including family and hospice personnel. I am certain this event was significant and I would like to tell everyone about God’s love, mercy and healing power. His complete love for all of us from the most celebrated to the lowly. I feel humbled to have witnessed this event. Sharing this presents responsibility and we would like to report it to those who may be able to explain it or be able to tell us our responsibility with having been a witness. Was it seen by each of us as a private revelation and only for our own peace of mind it was given or are we now bearers of personal witness to God’s mystery and his love and responsible to share it to all who would listen? Conversions began for many of our fallen away family members in this two hour period before and then after my mother passed away.

Also, do these boards discourage from private revelation? If I am allowed to share please let me know it’s ok.

Sincerely,
Hope

I would love to hear your story, I have heard some very amazing stories as well that are very credible and truely amazing and so uplifting in letting us know and be comforted about how God is right there in that time we need him most.

True revelation by God is a gift greater than all the world’s riches. While private revelation is not binding on the faithful in general they can be of immense spiritual value as experience in Fatima and Lourdes. Consult your pastor on what steps can and should be taken to verify this wonder.
