When i asked for a miracle to the Virgin Mary, is she who makes the miracle or she intercede for us to God? Is She the giver of grace or God alone is the giver of grace?

She asks God for it, but since she’s the one who gave birth to Jesus she’s intimately involved in all grace given by praying for us constantly.

Did you ask God for the miracle as well? Mary’s power is intercession. If she dispenses graces and blessings, they are only hers to dispense because her Son is the originator of them.

You can never err in asking God for grace, whether a blessing or the Grace of salvation. This is the work of the Cross that gives us access to the Father, so that the Son who makes all things new is the first in the order of Grace, and He upon whom we must constantly and totally rely.

I don’t understand this connection. All saints in Heaven pray for us constantly, why does Mary giving birth to Jesus make her the bearer of all Grace?

Theologically speaking, God delivered personified grace to the world through her. That’s kind of the crux of the theology of Mary as mediatrix of graces.Though it is not dogma, I know Popes like John Paul II have used the term. Here is an EWTN short description:Mary is invoked in the Church under the title Mediatrix of all grace. All the graces which flow from the redemption of Jesus Christ are granted to the human family through the motherly intercession of Mary. Mary mediated Jesus Christ, the Author of all graces, to the world when she agreed to be the human mother of God made man (cf. Lk 1:38). And from the cross at Calvary (Jn 19:26) and as the final gift to humanity, Jesus gives Mary as a spiritual mother to us all: “Son, behold your mother” (cf. Jn 19:26). For this reason, Vatican II refers to Mary as a "mother to us in the order of grace " (Lumen Gentium, n. 62) and several twentieth century popes have officially taught the doctrine of Mary as Mediatrix of all graces, quoting the words of St Bernard: “It is the will of God that we obtain all favours through Mary.” The Mediatrix performs this task in intimate union with the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier, with whom she began the drama of our Lord’s Redemption at the Annunciation (cf. Lk. 1:35).ewtn.com/library/MARY/MEDIATRI.htm

I’m a mother. I provide for my children, but all I give them comes from God. Jesus gave His mother to us, and like any mother she provides for her children, but all thanks must be given to God, for Mary is the vehicle through which we receive our provisions, but God is the source of all of them. My children occasionally give me thanks for the things I provide them with, but in the end when we close the day in prayer, all thanks is given to God. There is no doubt they know that everything they have and everything they are is due to God’s goodness.

Let me ask a related question - what do pray to God for, and what do you ask Mary for? Is there anything you ask of Mary that you don’t ask of God, or of God that you don’t ask of Mary?

I’m not sure I’ve ever limited any prayers to just Mary, but if there is something especially important to me that I am praying for - like someone’s conversion - I ask as many people as possible to pray with me to God for it. So in such a case I will ask my church friends and family to pray with me for the intention, and in a similar way I will ask Mary and some other saints to pray with me.

“The fervent prayer of a righteous man is powerful”. Who could be more righteous than those in Heaven, especially Jesus’ own mother? 👍
