Who else likes Leonard Cohen?

Anyone else here a fan?

This is about as close to perfection as it gets.

I saw him in concert at GWU in DC 1992. I often think of him as a Jewish Canadian Johnny Cash. (Or the other way around, Johnny Cash as a Southern American Leonard Cohen.)

I was able to incorporate this video into our homeschool music appreciation when we did a special class on Catholic and Christian themes in secular music. We listened to everything from the Newsboys to Judy Collins and Bob Marley.

I thought the same thing (after I typed it). Did you know that all of Emily Dickinsin’s poetry can be sung to tune of ‘Yellow Rose of Texas’ because of the meter it’s written in?
