Who is "authorized" to proclaim the Gospel Reading?

I have been getting over a bad cold or flu where I had a 105 fever for about 18 hours, so my thoughts aren’t quite as coherent as they should be. Thank you for picking that up.

No prob.

You were incorrect on one point. A deacon, while Ordained, is not an EM.

He, is, however, a Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion. (as are all in Holy Orders)
 
I am going to ask any Eucharistic Ministers who may be reading if they have their “training manual” handy. I can’t find mine; not on the bookshelves; must be in one of 50 boxes.

There are instructions on how to conduct a Communion Service including the Gospel reading.

Can you help here by giving the name of the book and a couple of excerpts regarding the Gospel in the Communion Service.
