Offended? No. Life is too short to get all worked up about some airhead on TV.

I don’t know if offended is the word, but I do find it a bit sad that you get ‘vocal’ Catholics who do not speak for what the church stands for. I think it does a disservice to the faith, and to those who want to learn about it. As well, it gives non-Catholics a distorted view of the faith.

Anyone who watches is offended by this, due to the false teachings. But most of all, God is offended because it is His name and character under attack.

If you do not believe the tenates of the Catholic Church, you are not a Catholic. One cannot be a Catholic and not believe what Catholics believe.

According to CA apologists, once baptized or accepted into the Church through RCIA, you are always Catholic – even if you are excommunicated or renounce your faith.
