Who is the patron saint for adoptive parents?

Could someone help me—I can’t seem to find out who is/are the patron saint/s of adoptive parents?

I found out that St William of Perth is the patron saint of adoptive children.

St Thomas More is a good choice - he did adopt at least one daughter that I can recall along with having a healthy-sized brood of his own.

I would think that very soon it would be Fr. Flanagan. He’s on his way to becoming a saint. Perhaps pray for his canonization as well as to him?

My priest told me that it is St. Joseph.

St. Joseph is, I believe. However, during our adoption journey I found myself also enlisting the intercession of several other saints who cared for orphans. And I also developed a particular fondness for St. Nicholas, whom the Orthodox refer to as the Wonder-worker. (Our process to becoming parents was not smooth…)
