Who is the Pope's theologian?

What does the Pope do if he has questions? No disrespect intended, but surely he doesn’t know everything – although, undoubtedly, he knows almost everything about sacred Scripture.

My guess is that Pope Benedict XVI would deny that he knows “almost everything” about Scripture. In any case, the current theologian of the papal household is Fr. Wojciech Giertych, O.P.
