At the risk of sounding a bit loony, WtP strikes me as extremely Protestant- ish. I can’t explain it.

Rabbits are not my fave animal in real life but I always like the cartoon versions normally; however, in this case, it is the bouncy one: Tigger.

My name is Christopher, and my mom used to read to me from A. A. Milne’s book of poems,* When We Were Very Young* (published in 1924 - the first mention of Winnie the Pooh), so I’ll have to say Christopher Robin is my favorite.

Even though not on the list, Eeyore. Honest, but gloomy. When I was doing Disneyland every weekend, I’d wear my Eeyore ears, and have a pocket full of $5.00 bills. In my best Eeyore imitation, for every child wearing a Birthday badge, I would ask if it was their birthday, then hand them their $5.00 for a birthday present.

You occasionally get the best of humanity’s virtues. One time, a few months after I had handed one child their unexpected present, I happened to run across the same family, who promptly handed me a hand written Thank You card. I was so touched, I teared over. I still, to this day, have that card in one of my study bibles.

“So far, it’s been a great day, but the day’s still young.”

If I were to pick one, it would be Winnie the Pooh himself.

I had a Winnie the Pooh teddy bear as a child along with Winnie the Pooh and Paddington bear books.

I hated dolls but I adored stuffed animals.

Personally I like “Disney” Eeyore and “Book” Pooh.

My husband is a big fan of the books and enjoys any incarnation of Eeyore but more so “Book” Eeyore since he things Disney stripped him of a lot of other personality traits to make him “just” gloomy. But he retains a lot of the best lines so it’s not something that actually bothers him.
