Just that. You can have two if you must. Three is strictly forbidden. Giving a reason is actually not compulsory however.

This is like asking a mother to choose which of her children she likes/ loves the most😌
I have to choose St. Anthony( outside of our Blessed Mother) since he was one of the first saints I remember learning about as a child around eight or nine years of age.
I pray to him daily and he has always been there for me🙏

St. Benedict, for the Rule of St. Benedict.

Is that succinct enough for you? 🤨

St Augustine, I can Sooooo relate to him. And Martin of Tours comes in a close second. Of course they are all great and worthy of veneration and devotion to the example set.

Drew Brees of course.

Good one. Give that man a cigar!!!😁😁

St. Teresa of Avila (my patron saint and a Doctor of the Church)
for her deep prayer life, her courage and her sense of humor.

St Jude. He was my mother’s favorite saint and she prayed for his intercession when, after 5 years of marriage, she could not conceive. With his intercession, she conceived my older sister. She past on her devotion to St Jude to me.

St. Michael. He helped me on some pretty rough nights when I was deciding to convert, along with asking for Mary’s intercessory prayers.

But there’s so many!! 🙂
St Isidore the Farmer
and
St Zita
for their simplicity 💚

Saint Mary of Egypt. She was a penitent. She lived her life as she choose then found God. She was true to herself.
I’m drawn to Gertrude the Great.

I enjoyed learning about St. Teresa of Avila and I love Saint Therese of Lisieux

Saint Therese of the Chiild Jesus and Saint Catherine of Siena are my two “favorite saints”. I’m not exactly sure why they are my two main heavenly friends. They just are. Both are doctors of the church. Both lived very holy lives close to God and striving for holiness from their earliest years. I ask for their intercession the most and try to keep them in mind and the examples of their lives before me. They are my mentors and helpers, which I am ever in great need of for various things such as continuing in faith, growing in confidence, and kindling some zeal to know, love, and serve God.

(My apologies to the OP if I exceeded the designated parameters. )

I can’t say only one Saint as there are many that have influenced my life.

St. Domingo Savio: he prefered to die before committing a sin

St Louis king of France: an example of chivalry, wisdom and fear of God

St. Francis of Asis: example of a life close to God

St. Josemaría Escrivá: he taught us to give everything we do each day to God

This is a hard but if I have to pick one it would be John Paul II I and others had the privilege of Him when He came to the United States I was young yet I remember that smile and how charismatic he was. Still the reason was that I actually saw a successor of St. Peter reach out to all people of the world,a true apostle of Jesus Christ. His words were assuring, he spoke the truth in all matters. I saw when he went to Cuba and it was the first time I saw Castro in a suit I asked my mom what she thought of that she said that John Paul was reaching to the hardest of souls…To have seen and heard John Paul II someone who is now a Saint and in the presence of God it does not get better then that. He continues his work from heaven and has the ear of God and our Lady who he had a great devotion to. St. John Paul II pray for us. GOD BLESS

St. Junipero Serra.

He brought the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Alta Caifornia.

St. Josemaria Escriva because his spirituality gives me joy and peace as I serve God in my ordinary life.

I’ve always loved Saint Therese, but Saint Michael holds top place. He know why
