Orlando Bloom was in “Pirate of the Carribean”, “Lord of the Rings” and several other movies. He is incredibly handsom! He has dark features including dark, wavey hair, a wonderful smile…okay, need to go take a cold shower!
It’s funny that my stepdaughter, who is 13, and I both like the same actor. My husband just sits and shakes his head.

I couldn’t help but comment.
When I saw both “The Fellowship of the Ring” and “The Two Towers” it was several months after the movies had been released and I went to see them at mall movie theaters during summer afternoon matinees. So I was probably the only person seeing them for the first time–everybody else in the audience was a repeat customer.
And I was about the only adult in the audience too. The rest were all teenage girls. They would coo whenever there was a close-up on Elijah Wood’s big eyes and squeal loudly anytime Orlando Bloom appeared onscreen at all. It was pretty funny–like Beatlemania or something.

I just watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time in the past couple months. They were awesome, and my favorite character is Legolas. But up until that point, I had no idea who Orlando Bloom was or that he was the actor playing Legolas until I googled him. So I guess I prefer the actual character of Legolas to Orlando Bloom in the flesh.
