Why are Catholics so interested in the LDS faith?

Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, but I thought I’d give you all an update. I’m currently going through the RCIA program with my local Catholic church. I’d say there are probably as many Mormons interested in Catholicism as the other way around. Thanks to everyone who has been patient with me on these forums, I’m on a journey into the Catholic faith. As I read through my earlier posts, I am ashamed of how ignorant I once was, but glad of how much I have learned since then. My eyes have been opened.
