Yes, I am worried. I am more worried about my loved one’s who do not think they need to go to mass or confession. My husband(non-practicing orthodox) says that he confesses directly to God. And, he prays at home every night, and does not need to go to church to pray. He was not from a church going family. Then, there are my children - one is agnostic, and the other goes when she feels like it, and she is a mother. And, what really surprises me is that I have a loved one that had death in immediate family and does not attend church. I have another loved one that has more New Age beliefs, and never brought her children up in any faith. As adults, two of her children joined Christian churches(not Catholic). A third child is atheist/agnostic.
When I had some New Age style beliefs, I was not worried about after life. Once, I came back I fear for all of us in my family. All I can do is pray! We can lead to water, but they must drink it. Divine Mercy is on my daily prayer list.
