Why are so many priests/parishes afraid to be pro-life?

If you want to know of a good Catholic church, my brother lives in Wildwood (just outside of St. Louis) & loves Ascension Catholic Church!!

Good luck, but you won’t need it I’m sure!

Thank you. I just purchased a home in Linn Creek Missouri on Lake of the Ozarks. I won’t be living there for a couple of years but I did see a church called Our Lady of the Lake which might just be the change we need from the San Francisco Bay area. We did hear from our bishop in Sacramento at Mass on Sunday about the annual Catholic appeal for the poor but once agian nothing about abortion or anything about people who support abortion and gay marriage. Certainly the Catholic appeal is a good cause and we should all help the poor. I just wish our bishops would be more vocal against abortion and same sex marriage. In this area there is just silence.
