Why are the Ethiopic Gospels important?

Besides the Four Gospels, this manuscript also contains the first eight books of the Old Testament – scriptures inherited from Judaism – and other religious texts. The Bible of the Ethiopic Church preserved some writings that were rejected or lost by other Churches, such as the ‘Book of Jubilees’, the ‘Third Book of Ezra’ and the ‘Apocalypse of St Peter’.
The Ethiopic Bible has a total of 84 books, compared to the 66 books of the King James, or Authorised, Version of the Bible [and 72~74 of Douay Rheims Latin Vulgate Bible].
Some of these are translations from Greek, Syriac and Coptic texts no longer known in their original languages.

Ethiopia has been one of the most historially Christian country and has been practicing longer than almost any other in the world. They are actually acredited for housing the Ark of the Covennant. I can’t answer your question, but here are some facts on the country.

He is trying to claim that the Bible was corrupted by man. And frankly, these arguments by Muslims are getting tiring.

This not just a claim of Muslims. I have heard of a lot of groups and people claim things like this. I often hear this from other Christians or people claining to be, more than ant other group. I often hear them say who knows what God realy intended or wills, and why listen to a book written by men? It is definitely not primarily a Muslim claim.
