Hi brothers and sisters in Christ. I made a video called “Why being Born again is being Baptized - and - Infant Baptism”

youtube.com/watch?v=8roNQgPxE5Q

Its a video I made for all protestants that believe that “Being Born” again is “Accepting Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal lord and savior” and that’s it. When in fact the bible teaches, it is to be baptized. It also speak about infant baptism.

This video is based and on the Bible and also contains references to the Early Christians as well.

Please give me your feedback. Make me know if it is free from any doctrinal and moral errors. If it has any, I will be sure to correct it. Thank you all in advance.

In addition, please watch my video “The Eucharist”

God Bless!

I found this to be quite beautiful.

My comment on the background music: when reading–for me personally–I find it easier to hear only the instrumental version, with out the sung words. The video started that way, but changed later. I have this same issue before mass begins, when I am praying and readying myself for the mass.

Just my $0.02.

I hope you don’t expect Catholics to watch your video. Ha!

You probably misunderstood me. I meant, that this video can be used to refute protestants. Meaning, that I encourage Catholics to watch it.

Sorry, but your Title of the thread doesn’t match your write-up. Reading the Title will scare away most Catholics. It implies that water baptism is not required and being Born Again is all that is needed. I think you should edit your Title.

God bless

You need to add the word, “not”. The title should read, "Why being Born Again is NOT being Baptized.

Firstly as I mentioned I cannot edit the first post.

Second, Being Born again is in fact getting baptized. So why would I add the word Not?

Maybe better expressed as:

Catholic Baptism: the full truth compared to “born again” protestantism

or something like that

and I know you can’t edit this post title

Thanks for the suggestion. I may consider changing the title of my video.

In fact I already did. I added the word “Catholicism” at the beginning of the title. This should suggest that we are talking about what the Catholic Church teaches and nothing else.

Just got back from the Beach. That being born again at Catholic Baptism is an “Old Saw” that has been around for many years. Nowadays, many Catholics talk about having a personal relationship with Jesus in the same way as Protestants do. You will not hear it during Mass, but when attending Parish Bible Studies and Diocese Charismatic Prayer meeting I hear Catholics talking about Jesus in the same terms as Protestsnts do. I am located in California.

Perfect title! Catholics and Protestants have different meanings for the term “Born Again”, but they both use the same Bible Verses to apply it. It has been gone over so many times. What ever we do, let’s not present ourselves as robots who receive Sacranents and inherit the Kingdom of God. Good grief!
