I love the story of the nap fairy. Father Longenecker must be reading the wrong blogs!“This has led the blogosphere to become an ingrown, self absorbed, hotbed of unhappiness and hatred–and the Catholic blogosphere has not been exempt from this pollution.”
Okay, here’s the latest on my blog–all about in incident when I was in Kindergarten. You can judge for yourself if I’m headed in the quoted direction: reflections911.wordpress.com

I don’t think he means to imply that all blogs go that route but simply that some do and that it can be a real temptation for many bloggers.“Where they used to write thoughtful, funny and personal pieces for love not money they evolve into writing increasingly shallow, tabloid and controversial pieces to boost their traffic.”
Goodness, is that where I’m supposedly heading on my blog? I write about personal experiences and what I learned from them about my Catholic faith. I don’t care how big the traffic flow is–I’m not getting paid, and I write just for fun.
As for my novels, again I don’t write for money–all my net profits are donated to my parish.
What a depressing post that is. Does Longenecker not believe anybody writes for the greater glory of God anymore?
Oh, I realize that. I was simply amused by the idea that my blog could possibly head in that direction without turning it into something completely different.I don’t think he means to imply that all blogs go that route but simply that some do and that it can be a real temptation for many bloggers.
