Why cannot the Church be made up of all believers? Why must She be us Catholics? Why must She be visible?
The body of Christ is a mystical body and Jesus is still the head of it yet He is not visible with the natural eye.Salutations,
If Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light and the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. How can we have the church invisible? We must be a witness to the unbeliever and to each other. We are the salt of the earth. WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Jesus sent us out to evangelize the world.
This obviously is a visible church. May we have guidance by the Holy Spirit when to speak up and evangelize.
in Christ’s love,

Asked another way: Why did God choose to Incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth? Why cannot the Church be made up of all believers? Why must She be us Catholics? Why must She be visible?
So we can find our way to Her. I thank God every day for my Holy, Catholic Faith. Christ was very visible to us so why not His Church. He doesn’t want us to stumble in the dark looking for HIM. The Church is there for the world to see and to defend Our Lord’s teachings as she does so strongly in our way word society. God Bless, MemawWhy cannot the Church be made up of all believers? The Church IS made up of all believers, and IS invisible in many aspects. But it isn’t only invisible…because Christ established a visible Church. Why? I figure we could postulate all day long on His reasons and why humans need something visible, but the fact of the matter is, Christ established a Church which is BOTH visible AND invisible. In fact, the authority granted to the Church by Christ necessarily demands visibility. You can’t very well “tell it to the Church” if you don’t know where that Church is, or what its supposed to look like. Why not this?
