Why can't the church raise the dead like it can forgive sins?

Well, I wouldnt say my faith is weak, I very much believe Jesus/ God is who he has claimed to be,I dont doubt that one bit, I believe he is the creator of everything in the universe…but I do have my doubts about many interpretations of bible verses, and what really occurred 2000 yrs ago, in relation to the modern world, something just feels wrong, I think mankind has probably misunderstood the bible, but Im not sure to what degree.

We have the Holy Spirit, promised to us by the Lord, the Magisterium that guides the Church on matters of faith and morals. We don’t have to doubt interpretations that come from the proper sources.
