Dear Friends,
Actually now a day I am so sad or unhappy. You now cricket is a famous game of Pakistan.
In international team on Christian player also play. His name is Yousif Youhana. We all Christians had proud of him. Because you now in Pakistan some one is Christian who is top. It’s a miracle because here Christians have not chance for show their skill in the world.
So we had great love with Youhana. When was he played cricket all families prayer for him. When he was a make 50 or 100 run in the match we distribute the sweets in children. We have lot of proud of Youhana.
But last week he converted. He became a Muslims with his wife. He become Muslim for money. It’s a great alas for Christian community who lives in Pakistan. Every body none Christian criticize us. We are really now a day in suffering. People ask lot questions to us.
But what we do our Christian member make us to ashamed of. Now a days life is so bitter in Pakistan. I really hate with Pakistan. It’s not always fit for me.
But whatsoever God know why He put us in this country and why we are in suffering always and spend here lives in bitter.

It’s difficult when you look up to someone and they do something like this.

I think there are many reasons they convert. IMO Catholicism has enough for everybody, but many don’t know that. They go to other religions to seek what they don’t know how to find here.

That’s just one reason I can think of. I have listened to many speakers of other religions, and in nearly all of them I hear certain little problems with the way they construct their arguments, but still I learn from it.

Muslim is something I know very little of, except for some discussions I had with coworkers. Has this person made any statements as to the reason for the change?

Try not to be too sad, however it is a sad occasion. Pray for that person and his family. While I don’t understand how difficult it is for the Christians in Muslim countries you do have my heartfelt sympathy and prayers. Also I do admire your committment to our Lord and for that I am envious. Remember our suffering unites us with Jesus in a very speacial way. I will keep you all in my prayers and please keep me and my family in yours.

God Bless
Kathleen

People do crazy things for love. Others are attracted away from their faith because they see something they are passionate about being carried out more fully in that faith.
Despite its flaws, there are good things about Islam. The prayerful attitude of Muslims is a lesson to many Christians who do not set time aside for prayer. Their pro-life attitude is unequaled even in the Catholic Church.
Nevertheless, it is a sad day for Christians who looked up to Youhan. We will pray for him and his family, as well as for all Christians living under various forms of persecution.

Try not to be too sad and try not to hate Pakistan. Pakistan needs YOU - your prayers, your Christian life as witness to the Truth, your smile and your laughter. Remember, you belong to a wonderful family - the Family of Christ. We will pray for this man who left the Faith for a faith that is less than true.
