God someone please explain this to me?

Why did God create imperfect beings? Why is this imperfection not detestable to God?

Because if we were all perfect we would all be God.

Think about it. We’d never make any kind of error. We’d know everything. We’d be able to do anything and we could develop powerful technologies to increase our power.

God did not create imperfect beings, for, when we were created, we did not know sin. It was the Serpent, the Tempter, who led man and woman to sin and therefore, become imperfect.

You may then suggest that in forming man, God should have made us without choice, to keep us from sinning. To that, I would argue that, as we are made in God’s likeness, we must be able to choose. God is perfect and free from sin, because He chooses it, He wills it. We were made in the same image, but we fell into temptation.

God is the ground of being, not we: our root, our fount is God. We were made to join God, not be Gods.

The way I understand it, by our own free will choosing to open ourselves to our intended meaning with God we can enter heaven where we will never need to ever desire to be Gods. All good is God, so the desire to be perfect, which is tantamount to divinity, is a desire not to join God but be separate, which is to be seprate to all good.

Once someone tried that already. Trivia question: What is that someone’s name?

God didn’t make imperfect beings, he made beings with free will. All of our imperfections come from the sin which separates us from God. But if we did not have free will, we could not choose to love God - even if that love is imperfect. Furthermore, if God had created perfect beings, then we would have no need for God, we would be on the same level as God, and that is just not right. The creation should never be equal with the creator.

I don’t mean imperfection as in sin, I mean as in made of matter, limited in power, mortal.

God is ultimate perfection why did he create anything worse than himself. Why is he not repulsed by imperfection?

He made everythihng good. Is that enough for you? Good is without blemish. We were good and free, but we used our freedom in such a way that, as a result, creation is not “good” anymore.
