Why didn't God reveal Himself to other ancient peoples?

God judges people as individuals.
He knows exactly where we’re at when we choose Him or not.
He knows our strengths and limitations, and how “invincible” our ignorance actually is.
There could be legitimate reasons for a person to be evangelized, then reject God (for instance, being taught about God in the circumstance of extreme abuse, or by a truly unreliable source, or a preacher who over-promised and under-delivered), but again, only God truly knows a person’s journey, and if they’re using past mistreatment as an excuse.

This is answered in the Vatican II document Lumen Gentium–a light to the nations.

God had a special plan for His chosen people. That would later be expanded in the New Testament when the Chosen People are now the Church.

He did reveal Himself to other peoples and other parts of the world, but just not in the same way, and not endowing them with the same special status.
 
The reason is the same reason why the Greek gods only appeared to the Greeks, why the Indian gods appeared to the people in India, and so on. It’s incorrect to say that since other cultures also came up with other deities that the Christian God gave some minor insight to them. Really it’s about human nature trying to explain what we can’t (yet) explain. It owes far more to the understanding we get from Joseph Campbell than to any religious truth.

One True God

One True Faith

& ONLY One [people] True Church

BECAUSE GOD IN PERFECT WISDOM KNEW that is choosing JUST ONE, that it ought to be, can be and needs to be understood PRECISELY what God Wants, Commands and desires.

Tough question. I don’t have the answer. Sometimes God doesn’t tell us everything. It’s a challenge and it is called faith.

Not too long ago acheologists found remains of community of ancient people not more that three feet high in a remote islands of Indonesia. We don’t know what happened to them and where they went to.
 
Yes, I think wherever there is inquiry there is the possibility of knowing more about God and nature.
 
I think it was so we could distinguish His works from ours or any other created being.
