A major critic to the Catholic church is that it as it were worship idols.Some people believe that almost every church has a statue of either Mary,Jesus or any of the Saints which faithfuls pray through to God.To them,the Bible says that One of the 10 commandments of God makes it clear that no one should worship any body except him.That,we shouldn’t adore or worship any statue.A classical example is the GROTTO.
One can argue that,when you visit the shrine of the traditionalist,you would find statues being worshiped.
My question is why do Catholics pray through these statues ? Thank you very much and may the Almighty richly bless your outfit.
