Why do I feel so calm, kind and genuine when I'm putting God's will first?

I know this is normal, but can anyone explain it? I feel more like myself when I’m putting God first in my life.
 
That’s because God is supposed to be first in our lives. When you put Him where He should be, you’re acting in harmony with your own nature and His purpose for you. Of course that leads to peace in your soul.
 
That’s how God encourages you to continue putting His Will first ❤️
