Why do Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Halls have no windows?

:confused: I’ve asked all the jws i know and i haven’t gotten a straight answer.
 
Some Kingdom Halls do, while others don’t. In some areas, vandalism and crime is a problem. So, certain Kingdom Halls are built without windows to prevent breakage and entry through a window.
 
I was given two reasons as a kid—one to keep you from being distracted by looking out the window and two because everyone wants to shoot us, so it was for our protection.
 
There is a Jehovah’s witness building at the end of my street and there are windows all the way around the building including the worship area.
