Hiya CAF,
Many in our world of uncertainty, suffering, and modernity have found themselves asking at one time or another: “Why am I here?”, “Where do I fit in?”, or “Is there a purpose to my life?” We have found ourselves here, no doubt.
Many of us have pursued things of this world to provide ourselves with a sense of purpose and in an attempt to answer these questions. We have sought after knowledge, popularity, fame, wealth, career, and myraids of other things. And yet we feel empty and restless inside even after we obtain what we are seeking. We are never satisfied.
We humans crave and desire happiness. Why is this so? Becuase happiness is the purpose of our existence, the Happiness and Beautitude that is found in our Union with God, who is all Loving. Outside of this Union with God, we cannot truly be happy as God intends and wills for us to be.
God desires our happiness in Union with Him to such an infinite degree that He sent His Son to pave the way for human beings to come into Union with their God and Creator. Jesus’s sacrifice on the Cross made it possible that we could be adopted as sons of God.
We too should desire everyone to come into this Union with God and go forth to share the Good News of Jesus so that others can find ultimate happiness in being in Union with God.
It all begins with God loving us. He moves toward us time and time again and invites us to a Union that he wishes to grow deeper and deper with Him, and through us invites all into Union with Him.
It has been said that
The most noble occupation of the human mind is to Know God.
The most noble occupation of the human heart is to Love God.
And the Most noble occupation of a human being is to Serve God.
We are called to love others as well, and so because we know, love, and serve God, we in turn will come to know, love, and serve others.
The Church in her Teaching and Her Sacraments, and everything else that she does, is ordered to our Union with God.
Let us take the gifts that God gives through the Church, aids to deepen and increase sanctifying grace, to those around us. How richly God has lavished HIs blessings on us, should we not do likewise for others?
May our Union with God and His Church grow deeper and deeper. May we always do everything out of Love for God and others. May we be kept faithful to God’s Teaching, His Truth, As revealed by Him through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and Magisterial Teaching and never let us be parted from God.
God bless you guys.
