Why do we receive only the Body of Christ at Mass?

You can’t keep consecrated hosts for a whole year. Something is just odd about this whole story. I think there are facts missing.

Are you accusing me of lying? I lived there, this was my life, it’s not a “story”. I recall there once also being a priest on Remembrance Day, at first I thought it might have been an Anglican priest but I remember he took confessions for a devoutly Catholic family I knew.

Dont be mad at them. Due to the USA’s relationship with Saudi Arabia little if any facts about the country are publicly displayed. Many people dont realize that Saudi Arabia, on paper, is the most radical Islamic country on the face of the earth, making even Iran look like a paradise haven.

In larger metropolises, the locals are very nice and respectful to foreigners-- only because they are told to do so by the Government due to the business affiliations with the US and Arabia. Outside of that, fat chance.

It is punishable by flogging or death to practice any religion besides Islam in Arabia. Another little known fact not known by the general US populace.

I was a little sharp, I realise that. It’s just frustrating to hear people who don’t appreciate the difficulties of trying to be Catholic in a country where you are not allowed to openly practice your faith, not able to have a cross or a Bible or a rosary, and can be put of death for your faith. People put themselves in real danger by practicing, even behind closed doors. It makes me sad that people can’t appreciate that kind of struggle.
